Lock time

When you unstake, the coins do not return at once. Each network has its own unbonding period — from about a day to several weeks.

• During the lock time the coins earn no rewards and cannot be sent.
• The period is set by the network and cannot be shortened by the wallet.
• The wallet shows the lock time on the staking screen before you confirm.

After it ends, the stake becomes ready to withdraw — see stake status.
