Price impact

Price impact is how much your own swap moves the price in the pool or market it uses.

• Small swaps in liquid pairs have almost none.
• Large swaps or thin markets can move the price a lot, so you receive noticeably less than the market rate.
• The wallet shows the impact in the quote and warns when it is high.

To reduce it, swap a smaller amount, split it, or pick a pair with more liquidity.
