Verified and unverified tokens

Anyone can create a token with any name and logo, including copies of well-known coins.

• A verified mark means the token contract matches a known listing.
• An unverified token is not necessarily fake, but check its contract address with the official project before sending or swapping.
• Tokens that arrive unexpectedly are often spam or bait. Do not interact with them and do not open links from their names.

You can hide any token in Manage Tokens.
